NeoSpire, Parent Company of HostGlobe, Helps Lady
Primrose's Blossom on the Web
One of Dallas’ Fastest Growing Companies Launches First Internet

DALLAS (July 12, 2001)
Lady Primrose’s Royal Bathing and Skin Luxuries,
already named one of Dallas’ fastest-growing companies, has planted
seeds for even more expansion. Lady Primrose’s launched its first Web
Site June 20 (www.ladyprimrose.com) to further company branding and sales
initiatives. Dallas-based NeoSpire, Inc. will manage infrastructure
support and server operations for the site.
The Lady Primrose’s concept is the creative vision of
luxury hotel impresario Caroline Rose Hunt and her business partner Vivian
Wilcox Young. First brought to life as an English antique emporium and
tearoom in the Crescent Court Hotel, the Lady Primrose’s brand was
extended in a new direction in 1990 when London’s five-star Lanesborough
hotel asked Hunt and Young to create a line of luxury amenities for their
guests. (Mrs. Hunt is honorary chairman of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts,
which owns the Lanesborough.) As the Web site launches just seven years
later, the Lady Primrose’s line has grown to more than 200 products,
ranging from Little Primrose Tiny Tendrils Shampoo for babies to a
silver-plated stag holder with a mulled mead candle for the lord of the
manor. Lady Primrose’s products are available at more than 2,000 fine
retail stores and hotels internationally.
“The Web site represents a service for both the
retailer and the consumer,” said Shirley Pieratt, president of Lady
Primrose’s. “The site features a state-by-state list of retail
partners with a high selection of products and service, so consumers can
pick up Lady Primrose’s products close to home. But we also offer
full-scale on-line shopping and ordering capabilities of our complete
line, especially for those customers who do not have a store nearby.”
While the site emphasizes a soothing, elegant design,
with a strong focus on the products, Pieratt says one of the site’s most
important features is one that isn’t visible to the eye. “We
incorporated customization in the shopping model to streamline the
ordering process. In fact, we were able to reduce the number of steps to
place an order by more than one-third. We were always conscious of making
the site as easy to use as possible.”
This consideration of superb customer service extended
to the selection of NeoSpire to manage the site’s servers. “We want
our Web site visitors to get world-class service, just as they would at
one of the retail outlets that carries the Lady Primrose’s line. So it
was critical to select partners who could deliver without ever missing a
beat,” said Pieratt. “We saw that NeoSpire had the technological
sophistication and robust capacity to handle both a high level of
transactions and vigorous growth. Also, they offer conscientious customer
service themselves as part of the daily business experience.”
Initially, the Lady Primrose’s Web site offers
shipping only within the U.S., but Pieratt expects to add international
shipping in the near future.
“Any one who has had experience with the Lady
Primrose’s brand knows they define high standards for quality and
service, so we’re particularly honored to have them as our newest
client,” said Derek Wilson, NeoSpire CEO. “They’ve devoted
significant resources to get the Web site ready for launch, and we’re
committed to helping them recognize the rewards.”
